According to legend, St. George defended the village from robbers who threatened the local residents. The Church of St. George the Victorious in Alanya was built in the 8th century, and from the 13th century a monastery was erected nearby. In 1873, the church was rebuilt, but then it was abandoned for a long time. And only in 2015, the restoration of the temple was carried out. After that, he literally found a new life. Then, go around the 3-storey pink school on the left and walk up the road to the HIDIR ILYAS sign.
